My services build resilience and empowerment through self-reflection by nurturing the capacity to think non-judgementally and skillfully. Development and growth occur emotionally, intellectually, socially and educationally. Our office mirrors strong minds and relationships, collaborative, collegial team work and always places the clients’ interests at the forefront.
Some of the challenges I am experienced working with include anxiety disorders, depression, autism and disruptive behaviour disorders such as attention deficit and oppositional defiance. In addition, my strengths are in dealing with issues of self-esteem, relationships, parenting, grief and loss and stress management.
I maintain knowledge and implementation of both clinical and research initiatives for optimal service delivery. My orientations are cognitive-behavioural, dialectical, solution-focused, utilizing mindfulness and acceptance techniques, strength based resilience methods and positive psychology.
